Can I really PK on my first day?
Yes. Pick a Normal account and a build (Main, Zerker, Pure or Initiate). You get the stats, a worn PK kit and 250,000 coins, and the Wilderness ditch is eight tiles north of where you spawn. The starter kit is untradeable and wears out after an hour of Wilderness combat, so it can't be farmed.
Is the combat really the same as OSRS?
That's the one thing we never change. Tick timing, hit delays, PID, freezes, eating and prayer follow OSRS, and every combat change is checked against recorded OSRS behaviour. Rates, prices and progression are ours to tune; mechanics are not.
What does the store sell?
Cosmetics, convenience and bonds you can trade for coins, and over time some upgrades. Every item says exactly what it gives, and every delivery is logged in the game's ledger.
How many people are online?
The number on this site counts real players only. Wyldor has bots that keep the world alive, and they are never counted here, on the hiscores or on toplists.
Do I need an account on the website?
No. Your game account is made the first time you log in. To vote or buy something, you type your in-game name and type ::claim in game.
Is Wyldor affiliated with Jagex?
No. Wyldor is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Jagex Ltd.
